25,000 Flee to Ethiopia to Escape Blue Nile Fighting

Since early September it is estimated that nearly 25,000 refugees have fled the Blue Nile state of Sudan. This is due to the harsh fighting that is existing between government forces and SPLM forces in the North. The SPLM were given an ultimatum to either disarm or head south of the newly created South Sudan. Ethiopia is expecting more refugees to enter the country and have set up temporary refuge for the refugees. Only the future will tell the outcome of this war torn country.
