President elect Ivo Josipovic stated that he would crackdown on anti-semitism in a recent phone conversation with Rabbi Yitzchok Schochet of London. Rabbi Schochet represents the Rabbinical Centre of Europe (RCE), which organizes the Rabbis of Europe as well as numersous other Jewish organizations. The Croatian government has been tough on anti-semities in the past, particularily neo-nazis, but anti-Jewish attacks have still occured.
