Following my last post on the president of Croatia's visit to Kosovo's government, apparently during his visit there on January 8th Mesic was quoted saying that Serbia needs to 'stop nourishing unrealistic dreams' of Kosovo's return to Serbian control. He continued his speech by urging Belgrade to stop trying to incite discord by encouraging the Serb minority to boycott government institutions. Although he is probably right in his comments, he's certainly not leaving an easy situation with Serbia for his successor. This can only further incite the already poor relations between Serbia and Croatia.
