Bullets to fly again in Croatia?

by Bri Roozen

Mesic has threatened military action against any Bosnian Serbs vying for independence. The Serbs remaining in the area have been preparing to hold a referendum focused on their own independence, which has in turn inflamed already poor relations between them, Muslims, and ethic Croats. President Mesic believes that this referendum would be in direct conflict with the Dayton agreement - the document that ended the civil war fifteen years ago. Josipovic, the Croatian president-elect is currently unclear on his position on the issue, but one of Bosnia's representatives has come out in strong opposition to the referendum.
