China Economic Development

China's Economy is perceived to be the largest in the world among people in the U.S., even though its is only one third the size. Granted, the doubling of its economy every 8 years is very impressive. The article discusses how it is still one of the largest recipients of foreign aid from many organizations, ranking 4th behind India in money from the global fund. Much of whether china will be able to take the great leap as a permanently rival economy will be the balancing act between its economic growth in the cities, and its urban poor flooding to them.
